The role in a nutshell:
This crucial role involves the accurate and timely processing of client payrolls, including statutory filings. The responsibilities encompass addressing payroll queries, validating processes, and providing training/consultancy. Additionally, the role extends support during year-end processing. The incumbent plays a pivotal role in ensuring the adherence to labor laws and regulations while maintaining precise payroll records. Their expertise and attention to detail contribute to the smooth operation of payroll procedures, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance throughout the process.
How you will make a difference:
- Accurate and timely processing of client payrolls; from receipt of payroll changes (via various methods) to timely despatch and approval of client payroll.

Accurate submission of statutory monthly/yearly/periodic filings such as monthly
- MPF / ORSO Submission
- Pension Payment
- IRD Submissions ( IR56 “B”, “F”, “G”,”M”, “E” Forms ) as per labor law timelines
- Work closely with site managers and employees on payroll and billing queries etc.
- Responsible for the validation of payroll & process
- Maintain all the statutory guidelines in the payroll process and provide training/consultancy to Team / Client
- To be the part of Safeguard Sales’ call (for local knowledge support)
- Support in Year-End processing, reconciliation & Documentation
- Review the knowledge documents from time to time and update it
- Coach Team for the new laws/standard practices as per IRD / Labour Law
- Local support ( to reach out to IRD / MPF for any manual submission)
What will give you an advantage:
- Prior experience in accurate payroll processing and statutory filings.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to validate payroll processes.
- Effective communication skills to work closely with site managers and employees.
- Proactive approach to provide training and consultancy to the team and clients.
- Familiarity with local regulations and practices related to payroll and taxation.
- Ability to adapt to changes in laws and standards.
- Strong organizational and time management skills for year-end processing and documentation.
- Availability for local support in manual submissions to IRD/MPF when required.
